New Jersey Author: Fred Barca has been an artist for most of his life. Designing, illustrating, drawing and painting some of the most compelling pieces of artwork. Fred is an artist before anything else in his career. He has a deep passion for the arts. Attending School of Visual Arts in Manhattan, New York and the Art Institute in south Florida.

Fred Barca is not only a Children's book author but he has also wrote a novel back in 2003 called "The Gate To Remembrance" Another book embracing the Christian faith as well as the trials and tribulations of humanity. Fred is a true Renaissance Man. Embracing everything from fine art, illustrations and cartooning to creative writing and storytelling. He also operates several business's one being a chalotte, NC based creative web design & graphic design studio, producing top quality and cutting edge CUSTOM websites and creative marketing designs for print and web. The other being business where he sells print's of some of his most compelling illustrations and artwork. Fred; from time to time has taught art classes back in Los Angeles where he had resided for the past thirteen years as well as in his studio just outside if Charlotte, North Carolina in a town called Wesly Chapel, where Fred lives with his wife Deborah of seventeen years and three children.

A new chilren's book by Fred Barca which he also wrote and illustrated will be out in late 2012 called "Angel Bear"
